I was born with a very mild hearing loss so I have some insight into what these kids are going through. My hobbies include hanging out with friends, volunteering at my church, and playing with my boxer, Kaci. My biggest goal is to make a real difference in a child’s life.

Associate degree in Music, Ozark Christian College, Jopin, MO.
Early Education courses at Parkland College, Champaign, IL

  3. What do I love about my job and working here at CAOS?
Working with children. They are the best. Nothing compares to their hugs and words of "I love you."  It is exciting to see children grow in their abilities and to know you have a small part in empowering them to be all they can be.
  4. Share something interesting about yourself.
Having grown up in the "big city" of Champaign-Urbana, I went through culture shock several years ago when we moved to the hills of Kentucky.  The small town we lived in was definitely "behind the times." The church we attended didn't have running water so there was an outhouse in the back by the cemetery.  I worked in tobacco fields, didn't know how to make a cake from scratch or even what that meant.  It was a learning experience with many good memories.
