- Therapy focused on listening and learning opportunities in the natural environment
Center-Based Services
- Play groups designed to maximize opportunities for communication practice and success
- Individual therapy sessions with active parental participation
- Opportunity to coordinate care with Dr. Novak and Pediatric Hearing Center Audiologists
- Ensures efficient and accurate diagnosis and appropriate audiological management of hearing loss
Parent Education
- Supports families in advocating for their child medically, educationally and socially
- Expands family member comfort level with:
- Speech language and auditory skill development
- Strategies that are effective for children with hearing loss
- Vocabulary specific to hearing loss
