Volunteering at Carle Auditory Oral School

Volunteers at Carle Auditory Oral School have the opportunity to provide direct support to children as well as behind the scenes assistance to teachers and staff. In addition to volunteering, we offer these individuals the option of observing classroom and therapy sessions to learn more about helping children with hearing loss learn to listen and talk. If you’d like to make a difference in the lives of these children, please contact Carle Volunteer Services.

Carle Volunteer Services, which includes the Carle Foundation Hospital Auxiliary, is made up of dedicated individuals and students who annually contribute more than 69,000 hours of valuable service to the Hospital. From helping in clinical areas, to comforting family members in times of need, there is a place and pace that allows volunteers to contribute to patient care at Carle and touch the lives of visitors, patients and families.
